Final Images
For my final selection of images I decided on three stripes images, all of different people in their different personas. Even though I previously tried layering two images that are both in the same, or similar positions, in the end aesthetically the images looked better with the two different images in different positions as it creates more depth and excitment within the image. At the start of this project I wanted to create two different images that would show two different sides to one person- their 'normal' persona and their 'weird' persona. At first I only planned on presenting the images side by side without doing anything to them. After adopting the style of John Stezaker, I have created a more interesting set of images that still showcase the two different persona's of one person but through the layering and superimposing of two different images of the same person. Through Steve Schofield's work I have been able to create an image that contrasts the 'normal' and 'weird' side of one person in my images. To create my final selection of images, I superimposed two images on Photoshop. I then created rectangles on the two images, all the same size and then deleted every other rectangle to reveal the image underneath. I am very happy with the final selection of images as I think it really showcases the meaning behind my project, what is normal and what is weird? I think visually my images look very interesting and there is a lot of depth to my images.
